Social Work Program (B.A.) I Campus Reutlingen
The study location on the Reutlingen campus is a newly founded branch of the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg. Since the summer semester of 2018, the university has been offering the degree program "Social Work" (B.A.) at the university campus in Reutlingen. Each year, 35 students are admitted for the winter semester.
The Reutlingen Campus is located on the grounds of the state-run Reutlingen University of Applied Sciences for international and business-related academic education, on the outskirts of the lively city of Reutlingen. The advantages of a large campus with about 6000 students with an extensive library, refectory, events of the university community, sports offers, other additional offers as well as a toddler group enrich and facilitate the studies.
There is a large and growing demand for graduates of this 7-semester accredited program in the Neckar-Alb region and beyond. In the region, the social sector is the second strongest economic sector. In cooperation with regional social and diaconal institutions, specialists and managers in social work are to be qualified to deal with social issues, and thus for the people in the region and beyond.
