PC pools, WLAN and e-mail addresses (Studnet)
Studnet is the student network for the computer pools at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg. WLAN for laptops and smartphones is also offered. An Outlook account to the e-mails of the Studnet distribution list is also available. All important info mails of the university are sent via this distribution list. The login for all these services is combined in the Studnet access data that you received from the EH administrator at the beginning of your studies. For EH studentsthe accesses are the same as for Moodle and HISinOne.
Important: Clean your e-mail inbox regularly! To ensure that you are always up to date, you should make sure to log into your Outlook account several times per semester and delete the emails that have accumulated. This is the only way to ensure (despite mail forwarding) that you receive the messages and that they are not rejected due to a full inbox.
- How can I change my password? Students of the EH have one access and one password for all online services (HISinOne, Moodle, WLAN, PC pools on campus). You can only change this access via the PCs at the university (Ludwigsburg location). To do so, log in there, press the key combination Ctrl+Alt+Del and select "Change password".
- I have forgotten my password or can no longer log in, who can I contact? Contact the e-learning team at elearning(at)eh-ludwigsburg.de or call 07141-9745-270. Students on the Reutlingen campus can contact the Student Secretariat at campusreutlingen(at)eh-ludwigsburg.de or call 07121-271 8500.
- How can I log into the W-LAN of the EH? The access data you received at the beginning of your studies are valid for all online services including the WLAN. The access data therefore also work with the WLAN. If it does not work, the cause is probably the setup. If you have problems with this, watch the video tutorial in the Moodle E-Learning course for students and contact administrator(at)eh-ludwigsburg.de if it still doesn't work.
- How do I access my EH mail from home? You can access your Studnet mail account through the Outlook Web App, instructions for this can be found in Moodle.
- How do I get a discounted Office package for EH students? Please write an email from your university email address to Mrs. Petra Eilhammer (p.eilhammer(at)eh-ludwigsburg.de). The code for the office package will then be sent back to you by mail to this address. Students on the Reutlingen campus can contact the Student Secretariat at campusreutlingen(at)eh-ludwigsburg.de.
- I got married and now have a different last name. How can I have my accesses adjusted? Send the information about the name change together with a proof (marriage certificate) to the Student Services. Your display name in HISinOne as well as in Moodle will then be changed accordingly. The login remains the same.
- I am a lecturer and need access to the university's WLAN, who can I contact? Please contact Mrs. Hübner in the department secretariat to obtain guest access.
